A Look + A Story + A Vibe = One Version of You
360 helps people curate the best version of themself for each situation!
The 360 Project is an innovative model of transformation that organizations of all kinds can implement NOW to address social and emotional needs, assure academic and employment readiness, and provide a framework for people to self-actualize in order to remove barriers of success and happiness. We promote personal development in a 360 degrees approach.
The 360 Project works to make students' experiences whole by finding areas that could be improved and helping them to chart a path for growth and achievement.
Personal Relevance & Identity Affirmation:
The workbook centers the student’s lived experience and validates alternative identities (e.g., “hood smart” vs. “book smart”), reframing survival traits as assets. Students who feel seen and respected are more likely to attend.
Self-Efficacy and Purpose-Building:
Through reflection exercises (like rewording self-talk or recognizing transferable skills), students begin to see a reason to show up—for themselves. That builds intrinsic motivation, which is a powerful antidote to truancy.
Reframing Struggle as Strength:
The curriculum does not penalize failure—it valorizes redemption, reflection, and growth. This message can help students feel safe returning to school even after long absences.
Nontraditional Success Pathways:
By presenting “hustle” as transferable work ethic and “brand” as self-identity, students begin to see school as a resource—not a gatekeeper—toward building real-life goals, not just academic compliance.
Narrative Ownership:
The “360 You” concept empowers students to rewrite their personal story. When students see school as part of their own narrative, rather than an external demand, attendance can become an act of personal agency.
Mindset Shift:
California’s ELA and math tests measure analytical thinking, self-expression, and reasoning. The curriculum enhances these by improving students’ metacognition (“What do I believe about myself and how do I express that?”), which is critical for performance-based tasks.
Increased Engagement with Academic Language:
Vocabulary around branding, perception, and “mainstream norms” introduces academic language through lived experience. This bridges the gap between informal and formal literacy.
Cognitive Reframing and Grit:
The workbook trains students to reframe limiting beliefs into growth language (e.g., “I’m not a graduate yet”), which aligns with psychological research on academic persistence and performance under pressure.
Goal-Oriented Performance:
Students are asked to envision their futures in specific ways, tying behavior today to desired outcomes tomorrow. State tests become a checkpoint in a bigger life blueprint, not just a compliance measure.
Narrative-Based Self-Awareness:
Students practice crafting their personal “résumé” and story. These tasks build writing fluency, argumentation, and evidence-based reasoning—all key elements of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP).
We ENGAGE participants in The 360 Project so that they can create a plan for their own path in life.
The 360 Project is founded in the belief that those who choose to do so can follow the lead of legendary visionaries to create a blueprint for a purposeful and successful life; whatever a person envisions and plans can be their reality.
Our co-founders and team of uniquely qualified individuals work alongside participants as they complete a series of tangible outcome-based modules that are designed around topics such as assets, foundation, possibilities, strategic life planning, and the power of words while focusing on the themes of dignity, principles, preparedness, and determination.
We offer customized content engagement for all organizations.
We EMPOWER participants by providing access to literacy support so that they are perfectly prepared to explore the possibilities that await them.
The 360 Project offers both in-person and one-on-one online programming co-created and customized with District/Organization input.
The 360 Project planning team will collaborate with the organizations to create a plan of implementation that follows federal recommendations.
Orton-Gillingham reading support is available via teacher training and/or contracted service.
The 360 Project can curate A-G courses for your students. AB 2181 in action!
We INSPIRE participants' willingness to meaningfully engage in the process by connecting them to leaders such as Branndon Jackson who can help them develop a personal rationale for developing a blueprint for their lives.
The 360 Project recognizes that there are many reasons that may want or need a second chance or an additional opportunity. There are times when things are out of their control, but there are also times when a lack of desire or purpose are a barrier to personal achievement.
In combination with addressing the social and emotional aspects of attendance and achievement and the possibility that academic challenges are impeding motivation, The 360 Project provides support for participants to be the best versions of themselves.
Branndon D. Jackson is the content developer and lead facilitator of the Blueprint for a 360 Life experience. He is co-founder of The 360 Project and specializes in realistic application of social and emotional learning.
In addition to his work with The 360 Project, Branndon is an energy lobbyist in Washinton, D.C., and he serves as a school board member in one of the largest districts in the nation.
Growing up in the inner city, Branndon faced insurmountable odds such as financial and economic instability, violence, crime, and family challenges. Yet, Branndon knew that he could use his experiences and gifts to change his own trajectory. Branndon looked to people who inspired him, both famous and family, to shift his mindset to one of empowerment through an alternate perspective.
